Dr. Trammell launched her career with Oak Knoll in the summer of 2018. As a recent graduate of Iowa State, she was looking for a workplace she could call home and build long-term relationships with her co-workers and clients. She says that she always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and enjoys the lifelong learning that this industry offers. Dr. Trammell is interested in soft tissue surgeries and practicing high-quality medicine, and she says she wishes more owners knew about the dangerous foods, plants, and substances in our homes that can be hazardous to pets.

Dr. Trammell has served with the Iowa Army National Guard and enjoys an array of activities such as fishing, camping, archery, hunting, and crochet. She says her biggest accomplishment has been completing her doctorate and being a mother. She and her daughter, Lena, have 2 cats (Perry and Ted), 1 dog (Kaylee), and a horse named Joker. She enjoys country music and has a love of dark chocolate.
